It is optimized for Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and System Center 2012 R2 and includes Dell’s 12th Generation PowerEdge Servers, Dell EqualLogic Storage, Dell PowerConnect Networking and Dell management software.

Dell Active Systems are a pre-engineered and tested solution that can dramatically accelerate virtualization adoption by dynamically provisioning resources to support the deployment of multi-hypervisor, virtual or physical workloads.
With Active Systems, your entire virtual infrastructure is provided, consisting of a bundle of PowerEdge 12th generation servers, EqualLogic storage, PowerConnect networking, and deployment services. The result is a single management environment required to run 50, 100 or 200 virtual machines.
The pre-packaged infrastructure rack comes as a single unit, wired and cabled and ready to deploy directly from the Dell factory. Available with a choice of either Microsoft Hyper-V or Vmware vSphere, plus included management software and initial deployment services, Active Systems provides a solution that is up and running right away.
